Divya Spandana who made her debut in Tamil with STR in Kuthu and appeared in hit films like Polladhavan and Vaaranam Aayiram is bang in the middle of a controversy. It all started when she failed to attend a promotional event for her latest Kannada film, Dhandam Dhashagunam. The producer, Ganesh was furious and claimed that she kept everyone waiting. He said that she did not even have the courtesy to answer for her absence despite promising to attend on receiving payment and was avoiding phone calls. A complaint has been lodged against Divya with the Kannada Film Producers Association.
